“I began attending Cal Poly Pomona knowing I wanted to get hands-on and dig deep with an engineering project. Breckett, as my mentor through Maximizing Engineering Potential (MEP), offered me a position on Project AMP. Outside of my standard curriculum, Breckett has pushed me to learn SOLIDWORKS Modeling & FEA, CopelliaSim, and more. He has helped me with my LinkedIn publicity, resume building, interview skills, and ability to give presentations. Together, we are learning senior-level coursework to apply to Project AMP and having fun while we are at it. I look forward to continuing my journey as an engineer, and my progress is in great part thanks to Breckett being my mentor.”
