Redesigned system with improvements to the fixture of the dual actuators, main screw lead to reducing screw ball cap backlash and smoother translation, updated control implementation for aircraft rolling replication.
Redesigned Lead
Lead was redesigned to reduce backlash from the retraction of the ball screw cap at the minimum position, allowing for a smoother translation.
Redesigned Test Stand
Test Stand redesigned to implement a fixture for the dual actuators, preventing vibrations from dismounting the actuators. Fixture slots are toleranced as a press fit for easy accessibility and disassembly.
